Growing up in Vancouver, Canada, I was fortunate to be surrounded by art and nature. My mom illustrated childrens' books and my dad built custom homes. I graduated from Emily Carr University in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. Shortly after I started a small business painting watercolor commissions of children and animals. In the Spring of 2014 I visited my uncle in Hawaii for the first time and fell in love with the islands. I now live full time in Kula, Maui with my husband Chris and our sons Frankie and Lou.

Since moving to Hawaii, I've been inspired by a botanical approach to drawing and my paintings often incorporate local flora and fauna. Creating an image, such as a hummingbird or cow, composed of plants and flowers has become part of my signature style. I am fascinated by color and light relationships and exploring the relationship between one piece of the painting and its whole.  My favorite medium is watercolor and I’ve recently opened up a store in Paia Maui with my watercolor paintings, prints, stationery & textiles.
